On to Salmon, Idaho

After the funeral, Jen & Lizzy rode with Grandma Trena, Aunt Stacie, and cousins Eric and Aidan to Salmon, ID.  Although the visit was just a day & half, it was great fun. We got to see Eric play a few t-ball games, attend Eric's pre-school graduation, and see Stacie & Mark's adorable house for the first time.

Eric's in his pre-school graduation cap.

Grandma Trena & Aidan.

Aidan is his room. Stacie is in the process of transforming it into a "Jungle Room."

Eric in his room, also in the process of having all his neat Star Wars decorations put up. His bed spread has Yoda and Anikan on it.

The beautiful view from the back deck, east and west (at least I think it was east and west).

The deer who come graze daily just off the front yard. Crazy! Stacie says it's so common, that their dog, Ollie, doesn't even bark at the deer.

St. Anthony, Idaho

Jen & Elizabeth went to St. Anthony Idaho for a funeral a few weeks ago and then headed to Salmon, ID to hangout with Stacie's family for a few days.

Jen's Uncle Rex's funeral was beautiful. And although it was a sad reason to get together, it was nice to see so many family from Jen's mom's side. We didn't get very many pics because it was a quick trip, but here's a few.

All the kids got to release balloons.
Elizabeth with a few little cousins close to her age.

Lizzy 4 months; Nash 4 1/2 months; McCrae 8 months (Yes, Lizzy is almost as big as the 8 month old!)

Grandma Trena's 3 granddaughters: Rebecca, Elizabeth, Ashleigh

The Great Grandma's

These are the pics of the first times both Great Grandma's held Elizabeth.

Great Grandma Elda Miller (Jen's Grandma on her mom's side) with Lizzy when she's about 2 weeks old.

Great Grandma Alaire Hart (Zach's Grandma on his mom's side) with Lizzy when she's about 4 months old.  Zach's Grandma actually met Lizzy when she was about a month old, we just forgot to get pictures.

3 Month Pictures

We had some pictures taken of Elizabeth a few days after she had her 3 month birthday. Here are just a few of the cutest. (I had such a hard time picking, I thought they were ALL adorable.)

A few good ones in her blessing dress.
I'm surprised we managed to get pictures without her tongue sticking out, since she pretty much has it out all the time so she can lick anything near her mouth.

We just LOVE that little face!!!

I think the colors are neat in this one.

Mommy's favorites.

Daddy's favorite.

I love this one with her little toe and my ring.

Thanks again Emily! It was a great experience and we love all the wonderful pictures.  Thanks most of all for being patient with the crazy mommy who brought too many outfits. Everyone check out Emily's amazing photography at http://emilylovelandphotography.blogspot.com.

Elizabeth's Blessing Day

We blessed Elizabeth March 1, but I'm just getting around to posting pictures. She was 9 days short of being 2 months old.

Thanks Grandma Trena for the beautiful dress.

A bow for every button down the back.

Thanks Carey, Sunshine, and Patty for the pretty bling. No thanks the mommy for forgetting to put my head bow back on. (And you can see the remnants of the rash she'd gotten with her ear infection. Sad.)

Chillin' with Grandpa Jim.

Thanks to everyone for the delicious soups, fruits, vegetables, and desserts.

It was a perfect day!

Happy Birthday to the Daddy!!

Thursday was Zach's birthday. We had a joint celebration with Jen's family on Conference Sunday...

(Yes, birthday girl Ashliegh is wearing one of her grandma's old square-dance dresses, because uncle Zach had the girls pretending to be pioneers for some fun photos.)

Then we went to lunch with Zach's family on Thursday afternoon and had a special dinner with just our little family that night with some of Zach's favorite foods.

I had to post some pics of Zach's presents because I am so proud of my creativity with the "Birthday Jar." (OK. I really stole the idea from a wedding shower, but I think it turned out dang cute.)

Since Zach turned 34, I put in 34 reasons/pills listing why I love him. But, that didn't even come close to filling the jar. So I then added pills to redeem for 34 back massages, 34 foot massages, 34 head massages, 34 shoulder massages, and 34 full-body massages.
And the Tootsie Rolls are because even all those pills didn't fill the jar...should have bought a smaller jar.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY! WE SURE LOVE YOU MORE THAN MOST!

Zach is blowing bubbles too, you just can't see them...
