7 Months Old

Elizabeth turned 7 months old August 10th. And here's what's new:

TEETH!
Her first two teeth came in a day apart from each other. She's figured out that if she wants to chew on her fingers, off to the side is less painful.

DRESS!
She loves her new dress Grandma Trena made...
and flower Aunt Linds made.

FOOD!
She can't get enough sweet potatoes, squash, and green beans (and adding peas this week).

This Munchkin Fresh Food Feeder is awesome! Elizabeth chews forever on whatever we put in it (frozen grapes are the favorite). Now we can actually eat dinner without having to holding her.
We totally recommend it!

MOVIES!
She's already a Harry Potter fan!

SLEEPING!
OK, so this isn't new, but it's cute. She still loves sticking her foot on her "music box" (as we call it) or out of her crib while she sleeps. These pics are from the same day. The first pics are from the morning...
and this one is from nap time. I can't imagine it being comfortable.

Happy 7 Months Lizzy! WE LOVE YOU!

Happy 2nd Anniversary!

We celebrated our 2nd Anniversary on 08/08/09. It's been two amazing years! Here's to many, many, many...infinity more.
We LOVED our photographer!
and I loved my bouquet.

This was us right before we got married...
And this is us now...
(We were in Bear Lake for our anniversary with some of Zach's friends and forgot to get pics of us together.)

Yet another example of how much Elizabeth loves to use her toes as fingers.

Nap Time

Elizabeth loves this Taggies Ball. The funny thing is, although it's covered in fun tags for her to play with, she ends up with the actual "tag" the most. And she won't let go, even in her sleep.

Thanks Joan & Val for the awesome ball!

6 months

Elizabeth is 6 months old! The months have gone too quickly. She LOVES the Elephant from the ExerSaucer we're borrowing. Thanks Aunt Stacie & Uncle Mark!
(It's a little fuzzy, but too cute not to post.)

Here's her social update:
  • She can roll from front to back, back to front, and all over the living room.
  • Her bottom two front teeth are coming in.
  • She's excited to start eating baby food. (We tried earlier but had a few too many horrible allergic reactions. Now we've determined she's allergic to formula so no more mixing rice cereal with that.) Bring on the Sweet Potatoes!
  • She loves to babble, talk, and laugh with/at us, especially early in the morning when we'd like a little more sleep.

Here's her physical update:
  • Age: 6 mo. Length: 27 in (87%) Weight: 16 lbs. (47%)
    Head: 16.7 in (48%)
  • Age: 4 mo. Length: 26 in (94%) Weight: 13 lbs 9 oz (50%) Head: 16.1 in (44%)
  • Age: 2 mo. Length: 22 in (75%) Weight: 10 lbs 10 oz (75%) Head: 30%
  • Age: Birth Length: 20 in Weight: 6 lbs 15 oz Head: ?

Another first: Fireworks!

Lindsey and Chris invited us over to watch the Weber State University 31st Annual Lindquist Family Symphony Pops and Fireworks. They live close enough to the university that we just sat outside their apartment and had a fantastic view.

We wondered if Elizabeth would have issues with the noise, but she LOVED them.

We had a hard time getting her to face forward for a good picture because she was trying to see all the lights in the sky.

I love the dirty look she's giving because she's not facing the way she wants.

Aunt Val and cousin Ethan (the other boys were too busy playing to be in a picture). He loved the fireworks as much as Lizzy.

4th of July Festivities

On the 3rd of July we went to Uncle Chris & Aunt Lindsey's for some fun in the pool! Thanks for the cute swimmer Aunt Linds.
Elizabeth's first time in a swimming pool was perfect because it's heated.

Up to Bloomington, ID

After swimming on the 3rd, we headed up to Zach's family's house in Bloomington, ID (about 20 minutes north of Bear Lake).

The Bloomington house
Zach's Grandma Alaire's summer house through the field
The Barn & horses across the street
BBQing
Games
Napping with grandpa

Parade on the 4th

We went to the Paris, ID 4th of July Parade. It was Elizabeth's first!
Patiently waiving for candy.
Kennedy's tentative wave to the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.
Matthew hiding behind Grandma Marian's umbrella to avoid the super soakers.
Kennedy: "You're not funny, Uncle Zach."
We're thinking of getting a golf cart like this for when we go out on the course. Doesn't it fit our style?

Somewhere Under the Rainbow

Zach took these pics of the most amazing rainbow.
Yay! It ends right on our house. Now I just have to find that pot o' gold.

It might also be in our Church.

Or maybe Boyd is the pot of gold.
